Low mass allowed rapid focusing at 500Hz while having a mass of only 110gms. A voice coil could be used due to low mass and 3500Hz natural frequency. The ribs and face thickness are only 1.5mm thick. Sub-ribbing provided extra face support while keeping mass and inertia low.
